$90 per student (plus $20 range fee)

Length of course: 5 hours

Prerequisites: None

This course is intended for those who have never touched a firearm before or has very limited experience. The course teaches the very basics of pistol familiarization and pistol shooting and expands to include the opportunity to shoot several different types and caliber pistols from .22 semi auto to .357 double action revolver, slowly introducing recoil, so the student can be more informed when selecting a pistol for purchase.

This course does NOT require a student to own a pistol but is intended to provide the student with the necessary skills and information for owning  one. All materials are provided to include guns, ammo, hearing protection, eye protection, and targets. Students are in no way required to shoot every pistol and are encouraged not to do so if they feel uncomfortable. This is their option but many elect to shoot them all. Upon completion of the course, students will receive a course completion certificate accompanied by a letter outlining the course and listing the pistols the student shot.
